1994  1999  2001  2004  2005

During 1994-1999 Lada Buchta performed meditative music with a 4-track cassette recorder and pre-recorded tapes at his casual concerts. At home he tried experiments playing the prepared guitar laid on a table with a bow, potato scraper (a holder spread with colophony) and other effects.

The results were sound spaces with ambient temper. Time by time he played such a piece at a concert but he mostly met misunderstanding of the audience that could not cope with a music without a constant rythm.

In 1999 he became a member of the band called Mimostojici (The Standing Beyond) that played an alternative rock. He recorded two demo-CDs with that band - Islamsky terorista (The Islamic Terrorist - 1999) and Za usvitu v cizim bytu (At Twilight in the Empty Flat - 2002).

In 1999 he also started cooperation with a violinist Dan Bartos who played with the bands 2kpb, U Hrebicku (At the Nails') and Posledni Vystrel (The Last Shoot) in the 90s. Since the year 2000 D. Bartos has played also in the band Dech noci (The Night Breath) - CD Zivlum (To the Elements).

The both musicians tested playing long pieces with pre-recorded background. The music was rather for now and here, so no sound recordings exists from that time. Perhaps only 2 short shots on a demo CD Kolory from 2001. But since that time the composition got shorter and their melodies blowed to the top.

The duet was chosen to play at the Prague festival Alternativa 2001 and for that occasion they invited a drummer Petr Hop Odstrcil who had already played with the band Dech noci. At that time he played the percussion and the trio performed at several concerts and vernisages with minimum rehearsals. At that time the band already performed under the name of Hasta luego (See you later).

Openhouse Bruntal

When P. Odstrcil left the band they continued playing as before in a duet and a little later a new percussionist Ondra Malik joined them. He brought a new impuls to the band and new desire for a new approach. The pieces got even more shorter and hints of songs appeared in them.

With Ondra

In summer 2004 they recorded the first demo CD in a studio together. In familiar atmosphere of the James Studio in Koberice fairly good recording was created. Shortly after the recording another violinist and a singer Renata Ulmannova joined the trio. In the past she played with a renessaince orchestra of Tibia, jazz band Dr. Swing and other folk and rock bands. In 1990 she established a band Simeon that recorded 2 CDs (Gili me´od and Vejdi dal). They were on a week concert tour in England. Today she also plays musical poetry in a band Vedlejsi ucinky (Side Effects). With her the Hasta Luego started working more with vocals as another enriching instrument.

Vysoke Myto

However, in the autumn 2004 O. Malik left the band but immediately they found a new substitute so the band could work without any interruption. The new member was a drummer Ivo Samiec. He had played with various bands in Ostrava. In 2003 he became a member of the rocky RK-130 and in the following year he started to play in a symphonic orchestra of the Silesian Theatre in Opava and also in the band Dech noci.

Hasta luego 2004

The end of the year 2005 brings again changes in membership. Renata Ulmannova have settled down in East Bohemia and further cooperation with her is very complicated. Ivo Samiec also leaves the band at the same time. Immediately a bassguitar player Milan Skorcik becomes a new member (earlier Otres, Diletant Music Orchestra). The trio leaves playing with pre-recorded backgrounds partially and they play life, louder, with a stronger insistence on singing and rhythm than it was so far.
